Blue Moon is designed as a extended holiday and short term live aboard and we have considered the creature comforts that we need.

These include a washing machine, fridge, microwave, TV, as well as the other trappings of modern life such as the laptop, CD player and phones.

To provide for the requirements above and in line with our comfortable and modern approach, Blue Moon is being equipped with a decent 230v power source in the form of a 2,500w inverter fed from a bank of five 110Ah lead acid batteries.

Power is distributed through a standard Wylex consumer unit fitted with circuit breakers and the incoming shore 230v via a MK RCD unit and change over switch.
